Located in the Negev Desert about 70km south of Beersheva, the Nitzana Educational Village brings together religious and secular Israeli-born youth, youth from the Diaspora, immigrants from the FSU and Ethiopia as well as Bedouin youth. Nitzana's overall educational approach emphasises tolerance, mutual understanding and respect among Jews from diverse backgrounds. The village plays an important role in promoting the development of the Negev.
